In2Care Mosquito Station: How It Works and Why It’s Effective
The In2Care Mosquito Station is an eco-friendly, professional mosquito control system that uses mosquito behavior against itself. Rather than killing mosquitoes instantly like a trap or spray, it works through auto-dissemination, allowing female mosquitoes to spread control agents to multiple breeding sites. This makes it especially effective against Aedes mosquitoes (Asian Tiger, Yellow Fever, Zika, Dengue carriers) and Culex mosquitoes (common house mosquitoes linked to West Nile virus).
How the In2Care System Works
The station is a dark, water-filled container designed to attract egg-laying female mosquitoes. A natural odor lure and shaded environment mimic ideal breeding conditions, drawing mosquitoes inside.
Inside the station, mosquitoes land on a specially treated gauze. During contact, they pick up:
A slow-acting adulticide (often a biological fungus) that kills the adult mosquito days later
A larvicide that adheres to the mosquito’s body
We won’t treat while its raining, but once our applications are dry, they remain residually effective for 3 weeks (synthetic and organic)
Access & Scheduling
We can call ahead the day before if you need to unlock a gate, put away a dog, etc.
You don’t need to be home for us to treat your yard or landscape.

We will close and lock your gate on the way out unless you request otherwise.

Mosquitos are attracted to body heat. Darker, thicker, or less breathable clothing can make you more attractive to them.
